DFB Pokal - German Football Association Cup Quarter Final Draw

The quarter finals for the DFB Pokal will be conducted on February 7th and 8th.  Eight teams remain in competition for the DFB Pokal (German FA Cup).  Six Bundesliga teams, including Bayern Muenchen and Borussia Dortmund, one 2nd Bundesliga team, SpVgg Greuther Fuerth and one Regional Liga team Holstein Kiel.

Below are the results of the Group of 16

VFL Bochum vs Bayern Muenchen 1-2
Hoffenheim vs FC Augsburg            2-1
1.FC Nuernberg vs Greuther Fuerth 0-1
Fortuna Duesseldorf vs Bor Dortmund 0-0  (4-5 Penalty Kicks)
Hertha BSC Berlin vs 1. FC Kaiserslautern  3-1
Holstein Kiel vs Mainz 05    2-0
VFB Stuttgart vs Hamburger SV 2-1
Bor Moenchgladbach vs Schalke 04  3-1

The German Soccer Association has drawn and scheduled the quarter finals as follows:

Tuesday 7th February

Holstein Kiel - Borussia Dortmund 0-4

Wednesday, 8th February

1899 Hoffenheim - SpVgg Greuther Fürth (19:00 CET)
Hertha BSC Berlin - Mönchengladbach (19:00  CET)
VfB Stuttgart - FC Bayern München (20:30 CET)

Dortmund should have drawn the easiest challenger, but based on the Group of 16 results all bets are off.   Hoffenheim and Greuther Fuerth should be a another close match.   Glabach will have its challenge to win in Berlin, while a visit of Bayern Muenchen in the Daimler Benz Arena is alway unpredictable.   The quarter finals will, once again, provide drama and surprises.
